Optronics & Vision
Optical systems have always been there and were one of the first expressions of applied physics in every day life. With digital vision technology rapidly developing, resulting in more advanced camera systems, also the field of analysis of still and moving images has grown towards maturity.
Focal Energy has in-depth knowledge on both the hardware of vision technology, as we develop lens systems using state-of-the art simulation software, as well as the algorithms required to analyse and recognize what is being captured by the vision systems.
System Integration of vision technology and image analysis, results in value adding systems that our customers use for applications, such as:
- automated quality inspection of products
- moving and positioning of objects
- enrichment of camera surveillance systems
Our Optronics and Vision Technology group also combines own strength and expertise with that of competent partners, e.g. regarding mechanical engineering and system integration.
